The last few weeks we've been busy.  We've had flag football, soccer, preschool, savy's birthday, etc.  Matts flag football team played an all poly team and won... the poly's were not happy and started a brawl.  The guy out of no where, clocked our QB and then one of our guys went to get him off and another poly started kicking his face.  Matt then grabbed that guy until it eventually calmed down.  Long story short, our QB got a serious concussion, our other players face was demolished, and Matt luckily just walked away with a goose egg.  It was so scary.  

Savanna turned 3 this week and she LOVED being the birthday girl.  Anyone would who call her, she would first say, "hi, it's my birfday!"  She wanted a bubblegum birthday party and oh boy did she get it.  Her and all her friends had more bubblegum in one night than their whole lives!  We love our little 3 year old, even if she has SERIOUS attitude!

We went to Lake Powell last week and had so much fun.  The weather was awesome and we played hard.  We have been to lots of flag football games of Matts lately, preschool, soccer games, ward service projects, and Taelyn had her first primary program today.  She thought she was so big and did AMAZING!  Savanna is completely potty trained now... it just clicked one day and she now tells us every time she needs to go.  We're going on 2 weeks of no accidents!  It is heaven on Earth!

Matt: When I come home and hear "Daddy's home!"

We have had a fun few weeks.  Last weekend, I surprised Matt and picked him up after work on Friday and had the bags packed and headed to Cali.  We had a blast just spending a few days at the beach.  We have been to California every year since we've been married, and I didn't want to break tradition!  Taelyn also started preschool and soccer.  She loves both of them!  Sav has still been working on potty training with no success... I'm about to throw in the towel with her!  This week we had preschool, soccer games, and lots of fun.  This weekend I helped the Coles with doing flowers and food for Keltons wedding.  The girls had 2 birthday parties and loved every second of it!

This week Matt worked again while we played and he joined us for any fun he could after work.  We had his first flag football game, went to the Thanksgiving Point farms, we went to seven peaks with some friends but got rained out so we ended up going to Jones' hot tub instead.  We played at Woods house and then had the Bennett family pictures and grandpa took us all out for ice cream after.  Taelyn had her first soccer game and loved it!  After her soccer game we went down to Rassmussens ranch and played in the water and sand all day!  Brox got really sick on Friday and still has a fever and moans a lot, but he is still being a trooper.  He is now sleeping in a big kid bed!

This week Matt had to work long hours Monday - Wednesday.  The kids and I went to a few splash parks and swimming to pass the long hours.  One of the days the kids got babysat by grandma while I went with my sisters for a "mom day".  After work on Thursday, we went and got dinner and went to the park as a family.  Friday night we went camping in our friends back yard (and saw an owl) and then Saturday we went out to breakfast, swimming, and went to get ice cream.  We had a week full of fun!  Brox said "dada" for the first time this week.

What was your favorite thing you did this week?
Dad: Seeing an owl while camping.
Mom: I had a girls day with my sisters at the pool (with no kids!)
Taelyn: Having Mikayla babysit.
Savanna: Camping

What was the worst part of the week?
Dad: Not seeing his kids for 3 days.

Matt and I have been married for 6 years now.  Matt is working for Blue Host and continuing to do his epoxy floor business on the side.  I stay home with our 3 beautiful children... Taelyn (4), Savanna (2), and Brox (7 months).  Life is crazy and we love it.  We are starting this journal to capture more moments with our children.

The past 6 years... We have moved 7 times (pg, provo, lehi, lehi, orem, and are currently living in Eagle Mountain.)  Each place we have rented has been between $575-$800/month.  Matt has had several jobs and has always provided well for us.  Some jobs have been geneva rock, temp services, sales jobs, and his epoxy floors.  After I graduated college in 2007 I had our first baby and have been able to live my dream as a stay at home mom!  We just keep adding to our family and I couldn't be happier.  Money is tight and somehow keeps getting tighter, but we are just enjoying living day to day and figuring out this crazy world together.
